Walk along north side of Liffey

Today when I wake up, my back is feeling very locked up and out of alignment. I flip the mattress on my bed hoping that will help, take some Aleve capsules, and do some stretches. I may have to hunt down a chiropractor if this continues… I assume they are allowed to remain open as an “essential” medical service?

After my usual morning routine, I settle into the next CMA lesson — it’s all about investment valuations (present value, bond/stock pricing, etc.). The concepts and formulas are familiar to me from the elective courses in accounting I took during my master’s degree program, but I have a lot of brushing up to do. It’s essential to have some of the key formulas memorized for the exam, so I’m going to practice writing them down until I have them down pat.

I finish up my studies, have lunch, and feel like getting out of the apartment for a bit. It’s another springlike day with blue skies high temps in mid 50s F / low 10s C. I head out for a walk eastward along the Liffey, over the O’Connell bridge, past the Customs House, and further along the north (and sunny) side of the river.
